About the Editor-in-Chief

Davlatov Rahmatkarim Mirzokarimovich was appointed Director of the Center for Oriental Studies and Written Heritage under the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan by a resolution of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences on 01.05.2020.

Since 2015, R. M. Davlatov has been working in research institutions affiliated with the National Academy of Sciences. From 2015 to 2017, he served as a research fellow in the Iran and Afghanistan Department of the Institute of Language, Literature, Oriental Studies and Written Heritage; from 2017 to 2018, as a senior research fellow in the Near and Middle East Department of the Institute for the Study of Asian and European Countries; in 2018–2019, as a research associate in the department for compiling the manuscript catalogue at the Center for Written Heritage; from 01.01.2020, as Head of the Department of Information, Scientific Relations and the Study of Central Asian Civilization; and from 01.05.2020, he was appointed Acting Director of the Center for Written Heritage.

R. M. Davlatov is a Historical Sciences PhD and the author of several scholarly works, including the monographs “Iran’s Nuclear Program: Problems and Prospects,” “Afghanistan Today: Internal and External Factors of War and Peace,” and “Afghanistan in Iran’s Foreign Policy,” as well as hundreds of academic and popular-science articles.
